4 natural ways to get rid of blackheads, at home

  1. Turmeric

The turmeric works well for treating minor burns, and also to treat blackheads. Mix turmeric powder with two tablespoons of mint juice.  Apply the paste on the affected areas . Let it dry for a few minutes and then wash the area with warm water. You can also make a thick paste of red sandalwood, turmeric powder and milk . Apply on affected area and after 10 minutes wash the skin with water.

Another natural and effective way to treat blackheads is Epsom salt . Mix a teaspoon of Epsom salt and a few drops of iodine in a little hot water until the salt dissolves completely. The mixture should have the room temperature. Use a cotton swab to apply the mixture on the affected are. Allow the mixture to dry. Use a clean towel to wash away the mixture easily.

  1. Corn Flour

Corn Flour acts as an abrasive which cleans the dirt that clogs the pores. Mix a tablespoon of cornflour with some usual lotion you use. Before applying the mixture, take a steam bath in order to open your pores. Then apply the mixture and massage gently with circular movements. Stay focused on the most affected areas. After a few minutes, rinse your face with cold water. This will help close the pores.

  1. Fenugreek

One of the easiest natural remedies for blackheads is fenugreek . Make a thick paste of fresh fenugreek leaves with a little water. Apply on affected area and let it dry for about 10 minutes. Rinse with warm water . Use this remedy daily.
