Fortunately, apart from the expensive treatment that the hair saloons propose, you can repair the damaged hair at home using a simple, but magnificent ingredient: mayonnaise. Well, we all know that mayonnaise is tasty on the food, but it can be very helpful when it comes for hair reparation, as it ensures the necessary nutrients and oils your hair needs to stay healthy and shiny.

Remedy:

Wet your hair,pat it dry using a towel, then spread ½ cup of mayonnaise all over the length of your hair, making sure you let it action up to 20 minutes. Wash your hair as usual, using shampoo and warm water. Repeat this procedure several times a week and sooner than you think you will see the difference.

Remove head lice with mayonnaise

Among its many benefits, mayonnaise can also help you get rid of lice. It is quite a common thing for children up to 14 years old to suffer from this affection. As you may already know lice get very close to the scalp and lay eggs, populating your head and hair. Gross!

Fortunately, mayonnaise is a very effective remedy if you or your child suffer from lice.

Remedy 1

Spread ½ cup of mayonnaise on your hair and scalp, then cover it with a shower cap. Let the mayonnaise rest for about 6 hours, then remove it with warm water and shampoo. Use a drier to dry your hair and at the same time ensure that the hot air actually kills the lice. Repeat this procedure every week and after 4 repetitions, your hair should be free and shiny again.

Remedy 2:

Spread ½ cup of mayonnaise from the roots towards your ends and cover your hair with a cap. Let the remedy action for several hours, then apply ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar all over your hair and let it sit another half an hour. Eventually, remove the remedy with lukewarm water and the lice with your bare hands. Follow this procedure once a week until you see that there are no lice on your hair anymore.
